I grew up speaking Spanish at home and always appreciated the world and relationships it opened for me. It was my own high school Spanish classes that inspired me to major in and make teaching Spanish my career. I have taught Spanish since 2004 at Immaculate Heart in Hollywood and started at SMHS in 2016.

My classes are designed to make learning Spanish fun, accessible and real. Lessons also include cultural insights such as discussing Day of the Dead, the importance of the Virgin of Guadalupe in Mexican culture and the history of the Aztecs. I am always looking for ways to learn from my students and grow as an educator so I can serve them better.

Schedule: I currently teach 2 classes of Spanish 1/2 and 3 classes of Spanish 3/4

Office Hours: Any day by appointment.
