Introduction
I came to the United States when I was three. I spent my first few years here in Ames, Iowa before I moved to San Jose. I lived there up until I went to college at UCSD, where I got my Bachelor's and Master's in biology. Then, I headed up to Cambridge to get my Ph.D. in Applied Biosciences at MIT. After a few years, I decided that I'd rather be teaching than doing research, so I came back to California to get my teaching credential!
I've been teaching science at SMHS since 2017. For the 2024-2025 school year, I am teaching AP biology and biology.
I'm the adviser for Science Team/Olympiad. We are always looking for students interested in STEM to join! Check out the link on the side for more information.
I spend my days with my five-year-old daughter who attends Carver. I enjoy playing indie video games, watching reality TV, writing, and running.
